RATING AND REVIEWS

It gets the job done

4

As a student and outdoor adventurer, I bought this pack to keep my stuff dry. I have not yet had the time to test it on the outdoors (I.e. Hiking, mountaineering, kayaking, etc) so I can't give a formidable review on that aspect. As a student, I want to keep my notebooks/computer dry when commuting to school in the rain (by bicycle). It keeps my stuff dry but there is no laptop sleeve, and there's only one pocket on the front, which is very small and likely for keys and non-electronics. I do not believe the front pocket is waterproof but more water resistant. Also, there is no padding at the bottom so I have to be very careful putting my bag down when my laptop is in there. On the plus side, it's amazingly easy to load and unload but I think it would benefit from a small type of frame to give it some rigidity. The straps are very comfortable compared to other back packs and it's not heavy at all. I would say it's pretty lightweight considering it's a waterproof bag. I will be taking it out into the snow come this winter so we will see how it holds up. I fear for the durability of it with my laptop in there and no padding at the base.

Perfect pack for adventuring

I lead outdoor education programs in the temperate rainforest; rain is a guarantee. This pack has been hiking, fishing, rafting, and more and never leaked. It is lightweight, comfortable, and holds more gear than I thought it would be able to.

Has very good upgrades from the other dry pack. This one is more durable, thicker walls and a great handy front pocket for keys. Great paddling pack.

Good, light bag

Great, light waterproof bag. The little zipper pocket on the front is not waterproof.

Multi-functional and minimal

I've used this pack for spring ski touring and the minimal/single compartment did not bug me as much as I thought it would. I clipped skins to outside/top of bag when skiing down. Love the light weight! I also use it for bike commuting when it's raining out. The side straps are great for cinching it down when you're not filling the pack.
