Avalanche Canada provides daily avalanche forecasts throughout the winter, covering much of the mountainous terrain in western Canada. Beyond forecasting, they play a vital role in raising avalanche awareness and delivering education programs. They also develop and support curriculum for Avalanche Canada training courses, serve as a central hub for avalanche information, and collaborate with both domestic and international avalanche research projects.
